A great moment took place ringside a short time ago in Belfast as legendary English soccer player Paul Gascoigne met WBC heavyweight world champion Deontay Wilder.
For those unfamiliar with the soccer player he’s also known as ‘Gazza’ and was perhaps one of the most gifted and talented sportsmen to ever come out of the UK.
Sadly after his career finished, like it happens to many professional sportsmen, he fell on some hard times in terms of battles with depression and alcohol.
He’s doing much better nowadays however and judging by this great moment ringside tonight he’s in flying form too:

For those that said Deontay Wilder was not known in the UK or Ireland before his trip to Belfast this weekend he is proving that notion wrong.
Tenfold.
Wilder has been embraced by the UK and Irish fight fans and is being recognized all over the place in Belfast according to fans on social media.
Tyson Fury comes to the ring shortly against Francesco Pianeta and expect some fireworks afterwards involving Wilder should he win.
