WBC heavyweight world champion Deontay Wilder will be commentating on Fury’s fight with Francesco Pianeta this weekend at Windsor Park.
The stage is set for a truly huge weekend of boxing this weekend as the lineal heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has his second comeback fight after an extended hiatus previously.
He’s managed to lose over eight stone since he decided to make his comeback. A remarkable feat by anyone’s standards, surely.
But he knows, in his heart of hearts, if he’s to be ready in time for a fight with Wilder by the end of the year, that he needs to look impressive this weekend.
For his own confidence if anything.
Fury has never lacked confidence mind you but he’s a smart guy.
He knows that Wilder has been active these past few years while he has not and at the highest level of professional boxing that can make a difference.
Wilder arrived in style to Belfast with his partner both sporting fur coats:

Expect Wilder to get into the ring tomorrow night at some point after Fury’s fight – unless Fury were to lose that is.
The fight is completely out the window then, and any potential Anthony Joshua fight for Fury next year.
