Prince Naseem Hamed is in the commentary team tonight in the UK on ITV Box Office for the final of the World Boxing Super Series and as always, he’s delivered entertainment and value for money.
A real love him or hate him type character in the ring and outside of it, say what you will about Hamed, he’s part of boxing’s history and a colorful character still in today’s times.
His outings in TV commentary / pundit roles are usually limited to ITV these days but he still gets about to fights as a fan when he can.
One fight on the Usyk vs Gassiev undercard tonight has already caused controversy when Frenchman Nadjib Mohammedi succumbed to a controversial split decision loss to hometown Russian Fedor Chudinov.
The decision has been widely blasted as a robbery.
Prince Naseem came up with a response that well, only he could (hat tip Michael Benson):
? Prince Naz asked how he’d react if ever he got robbed like Mohammedi… pic.twitter.com/P2RTC5171w

Never afraid to mince his words, Nas.
Fans will be hoping that the final tonight if it goes the distance won’t end in controversy like the above fight.
If indeed it does go the distance that is.
