The latest Joshua vs Wilder news does not look good at all in terms of the fight happening next up.
It’s the only fight fans are interested in seeing either of the two guys in next up and if it doesn’t happen, the months of social media back and forth exchanges and negotiations in the media will leave a very sour taste in the mouth of fight fans.
Fans and media alike have been given different sides of events of what has happened in the negotiations but now the World Boxing Association have stepped in to give a final deadline of what is happening with Anthony Joshua by the end of today, or risk losing his WBA world title if not accepting his mandatory against Alexander Povetkin.
The only thing that could potentially stop this from happening is a contract being signed between Joshua and Wilder today which looks unlikely if there are still terms not agreed.
Fans are not impressed to put it mildly:
Wilder knows Joshua is under pressure, that’s exactly why he’s taking his time to send the contract back, now joshua has to fight povetkin wilder will be like “he’s ducking me again blah blah”
