Mike Tyson Gives Pick In A Wilder vs Fury Fight

Mike Tyson Reacts To Pacquiao

Legendary heavyweight champion Mike Tyson has gone on record regarding his thoughts on a future fight involving Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury.

While a potential fight between the two is quite a bit away just yet given the fact Fury is in the early stages of his comeback to the sport, it could very well be an inevitable get together in the ring.

Both are still relatively young in heavyweight terms and more than likely will be near the top of the heavyweight tree for years to come.

Mike Tyson knows a thing or two about heavyweight boxing. Still to this day he’s the youngest ever heavyweight champion in boxing history.

Speaking to SiriusXM boxing radio, Tyson said of a potential Fury vs Wilder fight:

“I think he could beat Deontay Wilder.”

He continued to say:

“He’s just made for the guy, you know what I mean? Tyson’s very awkward, (Wilder’s) not used to fighting a guy that awkward or that big either.”

Style wise it would certainly be an intriguing bout.

On one hand you have the wild swinging Wilder and on the other hand you have the more slick, boxer-type style in Fury.

First thing’s first though, Deontay Wilder needs to sign the Anthony Joshua fight for 2018 and come through that first if he wants a Fury fight in 2019.
