Eddie Hearn Reveals The Four Fights He Offered Tyson Fury

Tyson Fury recently recorded a stoppage win over Sefer Seferi and is now promoted by Frank Warren but it wasn’t long ago he was thinking of working with rival promoter – Eddie Hearn.

Hearn currently promotes heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua but just imagine the power in world boxing he would have had if he had both Joshua and Fury in his stable.

Fury eventually turned down Hearn’s offer which the promoter told IFL TV was:

“I said you could fight (Travis) Kauffman, then you could fight Tony Bellew, Dillian Whyte and Anthony Joshua. That is my four-fight plan. That is probably about £30m there as well. But he wanted four fights against this level – but it is going to kill his credibility and kill his value. Is he still a talented fighter? Of course he is.”

Not a bad list of fights there and certainly would have earned him top dollar but in fairness, Fury probably knew that it’s going to take him quite a while to get back to where he once was given the length of time out of the ring.

It’ll be interesting to see who he fights next – fans will be demanding a step up from Seferi Seferi.

That’s for sure.
