Gervonta Davis and his promoter Floyd Mayweather appear to have been at odds for quite some time in a spat that has played out in public fashion.
Originally it appeared the problems arose when Mayweather contacted the promoter of Vasyl Lomachenko in a bid to make the fight with him and ‘Tank’ Davis.
But apparently he didn’t speak to Davis before doing so which did not please Davis.
Since then a number of interviews and messages on social media have been sent by Davis who appears to be unhappy with his promoter to put it mildly.
Speaking on Twitter, Davis hinted at the two even fighting in the ring to resolve the issues:
“Let’s just spar and get it off our chest.”
Mayweather for his part has been travelling the world a lot recently and this past weekend was in Canada to watch his light-heavyweight Badou Jack fight to a draw with WBC champion Adonis Stevenson,
