Kell Brook and Amir Khan once again came face to face tonight – all be it a few years on from the last time it happened.
That occasion came on a UK TV set where the public called for the fight afterwards.
In their droves. Only to be let down.
For many years it seems like the fight that will never happen.
The one that got away if you will.
But now in the later stage of their careers, debateably in their primes in their early thirties now – they met once again tonight.
Brook was convinced straight away that Khan does not in fact want the fight, whereas Khan insisted he does and that he is chasing Brook after signing with the same promoter as him – Eddie Hearn.
The fight appears to be inevitable with both men now sharing the same promoter.
Provided both win in the summer, expect a fight between the two by the end of the year. I suspect.
