In this weekend’s other big fight in the UK the Khan v Lo Greco weigh in took place a short time ago in Liverpool, England.
The fight will take place tomorrow night at the Echo Arena in Liverpool and will mark the first time Amir Khan has boxed in almost two years since suffering KO defeat all the way up at middleweight to Mexican boxing star Canelo Alvarez.
That’s a long time ago now for Khan, who since then has made the decision to go back down to his usual home of welterweight after an up and down period outside of the ring these last couple of years.
Training under Joe Goossen temporarily with his usual trainer Virgil Hunter currently unwell, Khan came in at a ready 10 stone 10 ounces.
Phil Lo Greco weighed in at 10 stone 9 pounds and 5 ounces – with both fighters clearly having training extremely hard for the contest:

Also fighting on the card tomorrow night was UK female boxing star Natasha Jonas who weighed in at 9 stone 3 pounds and 8 ounces ahead of her WBA International Super-Featherweight Title fight against Taoussy L’Hadj.
Top UK prospect Anthony Fowler from Liverpool also weighed in at 11st 1lbs 5oz ahead of his fight vs Ryan Toms tomorrow night.
