The Frampton v Donaire weigh in took place a short time ago ahead of the pair’s featherweight showdown tomorrow night in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
While this weekend has plenty of action on both sides of the pond to look forward to – the Carl Frampton vs Nonito Donaire from a fight style point of view could be the dark horse for potential fight of the weekend.
Both men have been training diligently for months on end and it showed at today’s weigh-ins.
Both came in under the weight and looked in tip-top shape – Frampton weighing 8st 13lbs 3oz and Donaire weighing 8st 13.5lbs.
Also on the card in the co-main event the WBO world bantamweight title fight between Zolani Tete and Omar Navarez saw both men make-weight.
Tete came in at a ready 8st 4lbs 6oz and Navarez at 8st 5lbs 4oz.
At one point during the weigh-in proceedings the announcer’s microphone cut off which prompted hometown man Frampton to step in and help out:

Tomorrow’s fight between Frampton and Donaire will mark a crossroads fight for both boxers in many regards – given both stages of both men’s careers.
The winner will go on to a likely shot at the world title later this year while the loser will have to go the back of the queue.
