Sheffield boxer Kid Galahad extended his unbeaten record tonight with a stunning knockout in his hometown in the UK.
Galahad had long being touted as a potential world champion in the lighter weight classes for years, until some outside the ring issues slowed down his progress.
However tonight’s performance over Irving Berry will go a long way to putting him back on track as he looks to get into contention in the world scene at featherweight.
The folks at Sky Sports Twitter (hat tip) captured the moment where he closed proceedings tonight:

Not a bad way to celebrate your 28th birthday.
The win improved his record to 24-0-15KO and he now moves on to potential big opportunities down the road against the likes of Scott Quigg, Carl Frampton and other names at featherweight.
But he’s still a bit off from those kind of fights in all fairness.
He’ll need to re-establish himself with some more performances like that tonight before moving into the world scene.
