Errol Spence has an ominous warning for the rest of the welterweight division following the confirmation of his next fight in 2018.
Spence Jr (23-0-20KO) had a big year last year.
A period the culminated ultimately in him travelling to the UK and ripping the IBF welterweight title away from previous champion Kell Brook.
Since then Spence got off the mark in 2018 with an impressive stoppage win against former champion Lamont Peterson back in January at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
After that Spence has been linked with fights against the likes of Keith Thurman and Danny Garcia later this year.
But it was confirmed this week that the IBF champion will look after his mandatory obligations next up first of all on June 16th in his home state of Texas.
He’ll take on undefeated Mexican Carlos Ocampo (22-0-13KO).
Since the news was confirmed some fans have been vocal about Spence not taking on the big names in his division – but the man himself has had a defiant message to his rivals:
Line em up ?

He also said:

No doubt one of the other champions are being looked at for his third fight this year.
Should he come through his mandatory next up, that is.
