Anthony Joshua currently has his hands full with preparations for WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker on March 31st but his team are now eyeing a bit of a left field opponent for after that fight.
If he beats Parker of course. Anything can happen in heavyweight boxing.
But should he do so, it is now been widely circulated in the boxing world that American Jarrell Miller is being tipped to face Joshua later in the year.
The date flying around for a possible fight between the two is August 25th at Madison Square Garden in New York.
Joshua’s promoter Matchroom Sport recently set up a new office in New York for Matchroom Boxing USA.
It appears NY is the early focus of where their early American boxing events will be.
This might come as a bit disappointing however for those hoping for the unification between Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua if both men win next up.
That’s not to say they could not squeeze it in for the end of the year of course.
But if Joshua were to beat Parker and Wilder were to beat Cuban Luis Ortiz (both fights being next month), the logical fight between Joshua and Parker is what fans will be screaming for.
