Earlier this week Tony Bellew came out with his prediction on this weekend’s fight and is sticking to his guns ahead of the bout when asked why by fans.
Bellew made a bold prediction earlier this week that Groves will win the fight handily. Despite the bookmakers believing it is a 50-50 toss up.
But the bookmakers as good as they are can get things wrong from time to time too of course.
Especially in a sport as unpredictable as boxing where one single punch can change everything.
Bellew has taken it upon himself to explain to one fan on social media why he feels the way he does:
Oh make no mistake he CAN fight! I just believe this is George Groves fight to lose… he has everything in his favour! If he loses this he will only have himself to blame.. he can make this easy imo..

Last week an interesting tip from a friend of Boxing News and Views was floated in the form of Groves winning the fight on points being 6/1 at the time.
That now has gone down to 9/2 in many places and could be an indication of what people are starting to really think will happen, with the fight being just two days away now.
