Today’s press conference for the undercard of Saturday’s mega fight in Manchester took place a short time ago with promoter Kalle Sauerland and the respective boxers involved.
The undercard will feature some exciting fighters like Ryan Walsh and Tommy Langford ahead of the big one between Groves and Eubank that is expected to kick off at about 10pm at night local time in the UK.
The event will take place at the Manchester Arena and is the semi-final of the World Boxing Super Series, which has gotten off to an excellent start since its inception to be fair.
The eventual winner this year of the new format will win the Muhammad Ali trophy.
The event between Groves and Eubank Jr will be on ITV Box Office this weekend.
Fight fans for the most part seen to be more than happy to shell out for this pay per view – given the quality of the main event for the WBA super-middleweight championship of the world.
But the undercard is also very solid, too.
Today most of the fighters competing on it spoke to the public:
Roll on this weekend’s main event.
Perhaps the most eagerly anticipated early fight of the boxing calendar so far in 2018:
