Tyson Fury has clearly been working like a Trojan behind closed doors these past few months with new trainer Ben Davison.
It was thought that Fury by the time he gets back in the ring will need to have lost an incredible amount of weight.
Somewhere in the regions of 7-10 stone to shed all told from what he piled on after the Wladimir Klitschko fight back in November 2015.
That’s hard to do for anyone.
Never mind a professional athlete who would need to do so in a healthy manner in order to be able to perform at their job.
Ricky Hatton made reference this week to his concerns over whether this is simply too much of a weight loss to do.
Fury has released the following short clip on social media which shows a massive amount of weight off him so far and rocket fast hand speed on the pads, with his coordination looking very sharp:

The big question of course will be can he transfer this timing in the gym into the boxing ring.
If he can even do that a little bit in his first fight back, surely that’s the aim.
Perhaps it will be later in the year after he’s had a fight under his belt that his sharpness will really start to come back.
