Dereck Chisora this past weekend was in attendance at the “British Beef” show on Sky that took place at the 02 Arena.
The colorful heavyweight was seen back stage with David Haye and his protegé Joe Joyce where he could be seen saying he’d take the fight against the 1-0 heavyweight – if the price was right.
He’s currently looking for his next opponent after a less than impressive display last time out and is targeting all the major names in the UK for the time being.
Speaking to Kugan Cassius of IFL TV, he mentioned that he has the upper hand in negotiations on Dillian Whyte if they step into the ring:
“F*** that – Dillian Whyte came to shake my hand – shows who has got the power.”
The pair fought previously a couple of years back on an undercard of an Anthony Joshua fight in what turned out to be an absolute barnstormer of a heavyweight fight, at the time.
Fans would certainly watch a part two but whether or not Chisora would be in a position to land the fight remains to be seen, as the cards currently stand.
Whyte also currently has an opponent lined up next in the form of Australian Lucas Browne too – so has his hands full with that for the time being.
