Former heavyweight champion of the world Tyson Fury is set to lose the one title that he has left.
Despite Fury not having boxed since beating Wladimir Klitschko back in November 2015, well over two years ago at this point, where he lost all his belts in the time since, one organisation has stuck with him through it all.
The Ring Magazine who still to this day – recognise Fury as the true lineal heavyweight champion.
However their incredible patience has now worn thin after the editor of the Magazine recently confirmed that if going into February 2018 that Fury did not have an opponent named for 2018, that they will be forced to strip him of their belt.
Fury did confirm recently that he will comeback to the ring this coming April but the fact there is no date or opponent confirmed, will now likely tomorrow on February 1st – see him lose his belt with the Magazine.
Fury in recent weeks has been training very hard and losing weight all the time and has had his suspension lifted from the British Boxing Board of Control, and will have his license returned pending some final medical documents to be submitted it is understood.
Fury has until the end of the day to announce his next opponent for Ring Magazine.
