Joseph Parker Claims To Know Anthony Joshua's Weaknesses

Preparations are now well underway for both men ahead of March 31st’s heavyweight unification showdown in Cardiff.

The Principality stadium in Cardiff, Wales will play host once again to an Anthony Joshua event.

And an event it is.

His fights reach the masses in all corners of the world such is his significant star now in world boxing.

But WBO champion Joseph Parker doesn’t appear to be too in awe mind you.

Speaking at a press conference Parker did not hide the fact he’ll be looking to knock Joshua out:

“This is probably going to be the hardest camp in terms of training for the camp because I have a big challenge in front of me, in terms of Joshua. Joshua, I’ve watched him for a long time. I know he’s watched me for a long time coming up. I know his strengths. I know he knows mine. I know his weaknesses and he thinks he knows my weaknesses. I can’t wait for this fight to happen March 31st. I can’t wait to train hard and be back, and to hopefully put on a good performance and hopefully catch him on the chin and knock him out.”

Whether or not he truly believes he can take Joshua out inside the distance remains to be seen.

Parker very openly admitted that he’s coming into this training camp a little over weight, but has promised to be a lean and mean fighting machine after a ten week training camp.

Joshua on his part doesn’t typically pile on the pounds in between his fight and will go into training camp in relatively decent condition.
