Its been 8 weeks since David Haye underwent surgery to his bicep and while progress has been fast and impressive, there appears to be only one thing on fans’ minds ahead of his rematch with Tony Bellew this May.
Many think Haye will not make the fight and will fall victim to injury or for some other reason decide to pull out of the fight.
Fans have grown disillusioned with Haye over the years following countless shows getting cancelled which in turn for them has meant travel and accommodation getting cancelled, while tickets for the fights getting refunded.
Haye posted this update to where he is at in training and post surgery at the moment:

Many fans are not buying it, however. Here’s some of the rather brutal responses he’s been getting on Instagram so far:
“Dont break a nail u sell out.”
Going to get injured again. Shame.”
“I’m going for left hip being the next EXCUSE”
“Just embarrassing”
“what we reckon? Genuinely can’t see his body holding up yano”
Haye has hinted that this could be his last fight in boxing so if it is, expect him to put absolutely everything on the line against Bellew in the part two.
If he did win though I couldn’t see him hanging up the gloves just yet.
He’s still a big name in boxing and with the heavyweight division on fire at the moment plenty of big opportunities would be available to him no doubt.
