The Liverpool heavyweight is set to face David Haye in a rematch this May but has his eye on another heavyweight clash in the UK before that.
Bellew is clearly a boxing fan in between his fights with his various from the heart views he expresses on current boxing affairs and topics on social media.
Never one to mince his words, following today’s press conference announcing Dillian Whyte vs Lucas Browne Bellew has chimed in on one of Browne’s previous incidents with a drugs test before one of his fights in the past – saying on Twitter this evening:
“Like I said first one was 100% dodgy as you passed one 3/4 days before the actual fight, The 2nd is inexcusable though! Once again anything I say on here I’ll say to a man’s face…”
Bellew has his hands full with David Haye next up but a whole array of different combinations of possible fights are in play for him should he win or even lost to Haye in the rematch.
Bellew’s star has grown considerably in the past two years in particular.
Aided by perhaps not just in the ring performances but also his Hollywood role in a Rocky film landed a couple of years back.
First things first for Bellew though, David Haye next May at the O2 Arena.
