A Carl Frampton vs Donaire bout has now been confirmed for 2018 in a bout set to take place at the featherweight limit.

It will see the pair clash next April 7th at the SSE Arena in Belfast. Should Frampton come through it successfully, it is thought that a stadium fight outdoors at Windsor Park is being eyed for later in 2018.

Stylistically this fight promises for an entertaining bout given both fighters’ willingness to come forward and trade when needed.

Although both guys have plenty of boxing skills too when called upon.

But it strikes as a genuinely quality bit of matchmaking between two fighters who’ve always been known for their motivation to impress their loyal army of fans.
