WBO middleweight world champion Billy Joe Saunders trolls David Lemieux after last weekend’s victory in Canada.
Saunders put on a boxing clinic on the night, perhaps the finest performance of his career to date.
One that extended his unbeaten record and put him firmly back in the picture for big fights in 2018 against the likes of Daniel Jacobs.
Possibly even the winner of a potential Golovkin vs Canelo rematch in 2018.
Going into the bout there were a number of jibes levelled at one another, between Saunders and Lemieux that is.
At one point Lemieux said that he was looking forward to making Saunders a “dead man” and had a few other choice words to say about the Englishman.
Well, Saunders hasn’t forgotten about it — and has pointed to this particular comment for his memory bank in particular:

Ah boxing, like the elephant – a sport that never forgets.
Moving on into 2018 in a more positive note Saunders will be chomping at the bit for the unification fights that for one reason or another have avoided him since winning the WBO belt a couple of years back against Andy Lee.
