Fight fans rip into Amir Khan after something he said today to one Manny Pacquiao, a boxer he was heavily linked with to fight earlier this year.
The fight was even announced by Khan at one point early in 2017 on his social media channels.
However due to the lack of finance available to stage it by the prospective backers of the event, nothing ever materialised for the proposed match last Match in the far-East.
But Khan has not forgotten about his old sparring partner and friend from the Wild Card days in Freddie Roach’s gym in Hollywood.
Speaking today on Twitter, Khan said:
Watching the Horn v Corcoran fight live, Now I know why #MannyPacquiao picked horn to fight & not me,,,, & he still lost ??
— Amir Khan (@amirkingkhan) December 13, 2017
The comments come after Khan was voted off in recent days from a celebrity reality TV show based in Australia, which allowed Khan to travel easily to today’s world welterweight title fight in the country between Jeff Horn and Gary Corcoran.
Following Khan’s dig at Pacquiao, fight fans are having none of it:
You chose to go in the jungle rather than actively getting back in the ring and putting yourself back in the picture. By doing that you lost the right to comment on people actually still fighting

Don’t ever compare yourself to Manny Pacquiao….

Straight out of the jungle, takes his account back off the PR firm and straight back to being the nob that we all know.

Are you still a boxer?

Are you seriously making fun Manny, one of the greatest fighters of a generation when the only mistake he’s made is fighting on to long which is why he lost. If your legacy even amounts to half of what his will be you’d be lucky.

Khan at it again ??
