Miguel Cotto final fight from Madison Square Garden in New York in what proved to be the last chapter in a glittering career.

The boxing world has been paying tribute to one of its most respected athletes, certainly of the modern era today, as Miguel Cotto fought for the final time this weekend.

Excellent scorecards. Judges nailed it. Not the way it was scripted, not the farewell Cotto wanted, but fitting and emotionally satisfying in its own way. And boxing will move forward with good young fighters like Sadam Ali.
