Fury reveals how much he’s shed in a short space of time since already getting back into the gym in recent times.

Fury did return to the gym earlier this year in Marbella alongside WBO world middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders where he initially lost a lot of weight, but subsequently put it back on after been left in limbo with his career.

This limbo appears to be coming to an end at long last however as he seeks to finally clear up his issue with UKAD next month and provided he does, the British Boxing Board of Control it is thought will back him for a license when he returns.

This has given him a renewed sense of enthusiasm and motivation it seems with an end almost in sight to his protracted absence from the ring.

Fury is thought to be walking around at around 24 stone at the moment and will need to get down under 19 stone or so for his first fight one would imagine.

He has made significant progress already however – updating fans this morning (in own words) on Twitter:

“Morning fightfans I’ve had another. Good sesh in the gym, you will be pleased to hear that I’ve shed another 9lbs the weight is melting off.”

He continued:

“For all those people who said I couldn’t lose the weight & fight again this must be sad for taste.”

Fury also went on to reiterate why he is coming back to the sport:
