Who Wins In Joshua vs Wilder? Former world boxing champion turned pundit Carl Froch believes he has the answer.
That’s if the fight happens next year of course.
Following last weekend’s Joshua win over Carlos Takam and last night’s win for Wilder over Bermane Stiverne, both fighters have been spoken about today in literally every corner of the boxing sphere.
A unification fight between the two seems like a logical match to make. Due to the sheer demand for it and the timing of boxing being in such a great place at the minute.
But, when have boxing and common sense ever gone hand and hand? As a famous promoter once said, and even Joshua himself said recently:
“You don’t get what you’re worth (or deserve) in boxing. You get what you negotiate.”
Well, if that saying still stands the test of time, than negotiations should be fierce from both sides given the amount of money that will be on the table.
Should it get over the line though, Carl Froch told Sky Sports he only sees one winner:
“I just think that Joshua beats him. I think it’s a great fight, a tough fight, but one that Joshua can win.”
Since retiring after his knockout win in a rematch with fellow Englishman George Groves a number of years back, Froch has now become a frequent commentator on the boxing circuit.
