World Boxing Super Series Semi Final Lineup Complete At 168lbs

The World Boxing Super Series semi final full lineup has now been established and it promises for some fun fights next up.

The format has got off to a popular start so far in 2017 among boxing fans and fighters alike around the world.

The super-middleweight category for the Muhammad Ali trophy on offer for the winner has produced some cracking fights and wins from the likes of George Groves, Callum Smith and Chris Eubank Jr.

This past Friday German veteran Juergen Braehmer turned back the clock at age 39 to defeat Rob Brant by unanimous points decision in Germany to complete the full line up.

He adds to the above three and now makes up the full World Boxing Super Series Semi Final Lineup as follows for the new year:

The standout fight next up being George Groves vs Chris Eubank Jr – which promises to be explosive between the British boxing rivals.

But Callum Smith vs Juergen Braehmer is an interesting one, too.

Some say Smith has had a much easier route so far than his UK rivals, which might be true, but as Braehmer showed last night – he’s not to be underestimated.

Indeed Smith and his coach Joe Gallagher appear to know this already, as they intently watched on from ringside last night.

Bring on the semi-finals in 2018.
