Mikey Garcia Talks Lomachenko and Boxing Career Over Some Tacos

Undefeated boxing sensation Mikey Garcia is quickly becoming one of the premier fighters in the world today, pound for pound.

He’s currently looking for his next opponent following a unanimous points decision win over Adrien Broner last time out this year.

Garcia has flown under the radar a bit publicity-wise in world boxing terms since he burst onto the scene, but regular boxing fans who know of him, know that he has all the tools to potentially become one of the very best fighters of this era.

His record to date stands at 37-0-30KO.

But it’s the big fights he wants. The best always tend to want to fight the best. One such name is of course Vasyl Lomachenko.

Lomachenko takes on Rigondeaux at the end of this year in a fascinating contest but should he get past that, talks of him against Mikey Garcia for 2018 have been discussed by many a boxing fan this year.

The two did meet as it happens earlier the year backstage on an ESPN TV set.

Both guys were respectful to one another but you could tell that there was a rivalry tension there with both guys knowing that a possible fight could be on the horizon in the future.

Here is Mikey Garcia talking about Lomachenko and all things boxing with fellow fighter Phil Lo Greco (hat tip Culinary Fighter YouTube):
