Amir Khan hints at what he’d do to Mayweather in a fight, yes, again, despite Mayweather been retired – and also touches on the Canelo loss.
Amir Khan is a brave, exciting fighter, no doubt about it. Steve Bunce recently spoke about how he doesn’t see why Khan gets as much stick as he does.
I tend to agree. In truth, all he’s ever been is in exciting fights, win or lose. His war with Marcos Maidana one fight that springs to mind straight away.
Even when he’s been knocked out to the likes of Danny Garcia for example, it was an exciting fight for as long as it lasted.
But Khan hasn’t been in the ring now for well over a year (nearly 18 months) since suffering knockout defeat at the hands of Canelo Alvarez in May of 2015 in Las Vegas.
By the time he gets back in the ring he’ll be 30 and we don’t know what type of Khan we’ll see, in all honesty.
But the man himself is still chasing the elusive Mayweather fight it seems.
Despite Mayweather being retired.
He’s also spoke on Twitter of his last fight with Canelo with all the following remarks tonight – which have got the boxing world talking:
1/2 I know it’s been a year I’ve not fough due to hand surgery. I’m ready to make comeback at 30 years of age. Say what you like Canelo was

2/2 Getting out boxed. I was winning on cards. He had power and caught me with a huge right. Thats Boxing. Mayweather doesn’t have the power

In any fight I’ve never been out boxed. Mayweather khan fight would be a game of chess. Speed movement and accuracy will cause him problems
