Sad news has come tonight in the UK after a teen stabbed at a boxing show this weekend in the UK has now sadly lost his life.
It was reported earlier in the day that a 19 year old was in critical condition following a stabbing that took place following a riot at a boxing event in Walsall, UK this past weekend.
Violence ensued between rival supporters of two fighters competing on the card in Walsall Town Hall it is understood.
It has now been confirmed that the 19 year old young man who was stabbed in the neck during the violence has now passed away.
A police statement read the following:
“Walsall disorder update – the injured teen has sadly passed away. This is now a murder inquiry. Our thought are with family and friends.”
Walsall Council are assisting police in what is now a murder investigation at this time.
A boxing event that was due to take place tonight in Walsall has been cancelled as a result of last night’s violence:
