Vitali Klitschko Reveals Why He Feels Guilty For Brother’s Loss To Joshua

Vitali Klitschko Reveals

Former heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko reveals why he feels guilt for his brother Wladimir losing to Anthony Joshua at Wembley Stadium.

The fight in April of this year was considered a modern day heavyweight classic that delivered in every area of the fight.

Punching power, knockdowns, heart and ultimately a stoppage in front of an electrified 90,000 fans in attendance in London to see a new champion crowned in the form of Anthony Joshua.

Following the bout Wladimir Klitschko retired from boxing after a lot of thought about taking on Joshua in the rematch.

Ultimately, he decided against it and looked to pursue new challenges in life. His brother Vitali has not forgotten it so quickly however.

It still burns in his memory over instructions he gave his brother in between rounds of the Joshua fight.

The two had an extremely close relationship throughout each other’s boxing careers where at one time (between them) they owned every recognised heavyweight title in world boxing.

An achievement never done before in the heavyweight division between two brothers.

The final fight of his brother’s career however still slightly haunts him for the advice he gave him in between rounds.
