The Deontay Wilder vs Luis Ortiz TV details in the UK have now been pencilled in as well as some exciting news in other world title fights.

The fight is one of the more difficult that WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder could have chosen which has earned him some plaudits from his usual sceptics.

Luis Ortiz from Cuba will know this could be his one shot at a heavyweight title at this stage of his career at the age of 38 now, so will be putting everything into the bout.

This should result in a cracking fight come November 4th and now the UK details have been confirmed that the bout will be shown live on Sky Sports.

Deontay Wilder not

Promoter Eddie Hearn confirmed the news a short time ago, as well as mentioning that Leo Santa Cruz and Abner Mares will be coming to TV screens in the UK next month:

Both Mexican warriors will fight in separate world title fights on October 14th at the Stub Hub Center in Carson, California.

Indeed, the next few weeks are shaping up to be exciting ones in boxing on both side of the ponds. WBC champion Jermell Charlo also defends his title on the same bill above on October 14th.
