The GGG reaction to Canelo getting given the fight by one judge of a remarkable 118-110 score was one of genuine disgust here.

Everyone man and has dog has been chiming in today on what was another controversial night for big time boxing at the highest level of the sport.

The most important opinion of course is that of the champion, Gennady Golovkin, who despite suffering one sickening scorecard against him, still retained his titles given the fact the bout was scored overall a draw in the end.

Speaking after the fight here was the GGG reaction to Canelo getting scored 118-110 by one of the judges:

“This is terrible for sport of boxing. I am a champion. This is biggest fight for boxing. This is terrible. Unbelievable, unbelievable.”

He added:

“I am a fighter, I am a boxer. If second fight the same for me – it is not my problem. I come to box. I come to ring. It is not my job (to score fights). My job only in ring.”

It is understood that the judge who scored the fight in that manner will now sit down as normal protocol with the Executive Director of the Commission who regulated this weekend’s bout, Bob Bennett, to go through her card round by round and watch the fight back again with him.
