Rigondeaux Out Trolls Kovalev’s Troll on Conor McGregor

Rigondeaux Out Trolls

Rigondeaux out trolls ‘Krusher’ via a simple but genius reply. He might be good at countering in the ring but he’s not bad on Twitter either.

Earlier this week Sergey Kovalev put up a picture that he tagged Conor McGregor in of a time earlier this year the two met at ringside at Irish boxer Michael Conlan’s pro debut at Madison Square Garden.

McGregor had been present as he was walking Conlan out to the ring that night in front of a passionate crowd at the Garden, while Kovalev was a spectator in the crowd.

With McGregor in the news this week due to his fight with Floyd Mayweather, Kovalev took it upon himself to post him the following:

It got quite the response as you can see, but not that much more than the subtle counter jab scored from one Guillermo Rigondeaux.

One that landed out of nowhere:

‘Rigo’ has really been on fire on Twitter lately.

Some have suggested that it isn’t the Cuban boxer himself sending out the tweets – but he confirmed recently that it definitely is.

Ah, good old boxing and Twitter. Two things that always stir up controversy one way or another.

It’s a pity Kovalev and Rigondeaux are not similar in weight as the above could be sorted out with a fight in the ring.

On the ‘Rigo’ Twitter war goes for the time being – against anybody that comes in his way.

Lets hope the talented fighter lands a big fight soon. Notably the speculated December 9th showdown against Ukraine boxing maestro Vasyl Lomachenko.
