People from all around the boxing world weigh-in with their views after the news of the Wladimir Klitschko retirement.

The world of boxing has seen quite a few retirement announcement in recent times with the likes of Robert Guerrero last week, along with Tim Bradley also mentioning that he is set to make his retirement official in the near future.

Now add Wladimir Klitschko to that list – as a new era for the sport continues to see former stars retire and new ones come to the forefront.

Klitschko has been perhaps one of the best ambassadors for the sport of boxing that one could have asked for.

Always dignified and carrying himself in a professional manner, Klitschko in many ways (for his attitude alone) embodies what old school heavyweight champions used to be about.

He has been earning plaudits and deserved praise all morning from the boxing world following the news that he is now finished with the sport for good:
