‘Lets Go Champ’ Shannon Briggs responds to the news of a failed drug test from VADA for elevated testosterone levels.

It was confirmed yesterday by the WBA (World Boxing Association) that Shannon Briggs had indeed failed a VADA drug test ahead of a proposed heavyweight title fight early next month in Florida.

Briggs has the right to have his B sample tested and it is understood is currently in this process of this at the moment.

The news this week came as a bitter blow to those wanting to see Briggs complete what would have been a remarkable comeback in career and life fortunes over the past number of years.
