Kell Brook on Gennady Golovkin vs Canelo Alvarez Fight

Kell Brook on Gennady Golovkin vs Canelo Alvarez fight this coming September 16th expected to take place in Vegas.

Golovkin vs Canelo won’t be long coming this September.

A fight that was big enough to scupper the previous Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor date that was wanted previously for the same weekend.

It’s fair to say that it’s one of the biggest fights of the year – perhaps one of the biggest fights in the US since Mayweather vs Pacquiao back in 2015.

But Golovkin vs Canelo promises to be more of an action fight and it’s splitting many folks in boxing right down the middle on who they think will win.

Floyd Mayweather was quoted recently as saying he thinks Canelo beats Golovkin easy. Opinion is divided, though.

One man who perhaps knows Golovkin better than most is one of his most recent adversaries in the ring – Kell Brook from the UK.

The IBF welterweight champion is currently making final preparations for his own massive test this weekend against Errol Spence Jr.

Speaking on the Behind The Ropes segment on Sky, Brook gave his take on Golovkin vs Canelo:

“Triple G might be too strong and too much in his face. I can see a Golovkin knockout.”

What do you think? Do you agree with Brook? As always, feel free to let us know on social media.
