Olympic Gold medallists James DeGale and Claressa Shields get into one of the more unexpected Twitter beefs in boxing.
A James DeGale and Claressa Shields verbal abuse match over Twitter is probably one of the more unlikely pairings you’d expect.
However the male and female pro boxers have started exchanging with one another today – to the amusement of many Twitter users.
It appears to stem over this crazy incident in boxing this weekend where a bare knuckle punch was thrown in the ring by Andre Dirrell’s corner man and cousin after his cousin’s fight finished.
It caused widespread disgust from most but Claressa Shields appears to have taken issue with James DeGale condoning the incident.
