Conor McGregor On Katie Taylor Professional Debut

Irish UFC fight star Conor McGregor on Katie Taylor professional boxing debut tonight at the Wembley Arena in London.

Katie Taylor is well loved in her native Ireland and rightly so.

She exhibits all the qualities you’d ask from any role model but more importantly, from a boxing perspective, she is exciting in the ring and most certainly can fight professionally.

She proved that tonight (fight report available here) with an emphatic stoppage victory here in her pro debut as a boxer. She earned the admiration of another well known Irish fight star too as it happens.

The biggest Irish fight star of them all in fact:

That was a clinical performance @KatieTaylor!
Congratulations champ ?

Nice praise from a fellow combat sports athlete. Indeed, Taylor has garnered similar levels of praise from around the world tonight following her exciting display:

Not a fan of women’s boxing…. But this Katie Taylor is ??

Congrats @KatieTaylor. Great debut. And the more she fights as a pro, the more she’ll sit down on those punches, and the better she’ll get.
