Chris Eubank Jr Wants To Fight On Anthony Joshua Dec 10th Show

Middleweight contender Chris Eubank Jr wants to appear on the pay per view card before the year is out.

Eubank Jr has had an up and down year this year. For many reasons. In and out of the ring.

He had the tragic night in the ring with boxer Nick Backwell who suffered a bleed on the brain following a fight with him.

Blackwell thankfully recovered fully but has since retired from boxing.

Then it looked like Eubank Jr would fight world middleweight number one Gennady Golovkin in a potentially excellent clash of styles.

Only for the fight to fall through at the final hurdle due to negotiation problems with his manager and father Chris Eubank senior and promoter Eddie Hearn.

After that it looked like Eubank Jr would finally have a fight against the UK’s Tommy Langford. But yet again it fell through.

This time due to an injury to his elbow.

He has now called out promoter Eddie Hearn on Twitter to get him on the lucrative December 10th card on Sky Box Office that will be headlined by IBF heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua:

so I’ve told @EddieHearn & @anthonyfjoshua that I want to fight on the Dec 10 show in Manchester, let’s see what they come back to me with.

Time will tell if this happens for him but you would have to imagine at such late notice and with the card now apparently full up and made, that it probably won’t.

Eubank also addressed his fans this weekend on Twitter about how his career is at the moment and reflected on five years as a professional boxer thus far:

Cant believe 5 years ago today I made my pro debut. Its been a hell of a journey so far & there still a hell of alot more 2 come #TeamEubank pic.twitter.com/n8XcBgP3KX

Mad love for the fans I’ve gained over the years & of course I have a soft spot for my haters 2. I know I need to get back in the ring asap.
