Mayweather Confirms Comeback Is Possible – Explains Recent Sparring

Mayweather Confirms McGregor

Floyd Mayweather confirms that a comeback to the sport of boxing is “absolutely” possible and the “door is still open”.

Speculation has been rampant this year that Floyd Mayweather will at some point (as most expect) comeback for one last fight in a bid to reach the 50-0 mark.

It all started this year really with the now well publicised Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor hype about the Irish UFC star jumping into a boxing ring with the former pound for pound number one.

That turned out to be a load of hot air in the end but the Irishman in recent times has brought up Mayweather’s name again after a controversial chat on Facebook.

The talk around a Mayweather comeback really started to then gain further momentum in recent weeks after he was pictured here sparring – with his father and trainer Floyd senior watching on closely.

Mayweather has now confirmed to Fight Hype on YouTube (hat tip and credit) that the door is still open for a comeback and goes into what the recent sparring pictures that emerged:

We’ll let you make up your own mind on what you think of the above interview today from Floyd Mayweather. In my opinion we’ll definitely see him back at least once more next year.

Boxing is in his blood and the prospect of reaching 50-0 will be too great I believe.
