Kell Brook fired verbal shots back this week at old nemesis Amir Khan during the UK promotion of his upcoming bout with Gennady Golovkin on September 10th in London.
Amir Khan was rather vocal on Kell Brook lately for the first time in a while, even going as far as to say that he hates him.
‘Hate’ is a strong word and Kell Brook has come firing back with thoughts of his own on Amir Khan this week in an interview on Sky Sports.
The two have been bitter rivals for years and when the rivalry really came into the public eye at first a few years back, it was Amir Khan who was flying his in his boxing career, boxing in big fights in America – with Brook still trying to find his way in the UK market.
Fast forward a few years and how the tables have turned.
The UK boxing market is booming with 14 current world champions of which Brook is one of, and Amir Khan is currently coming off the back of one of the most devastating knockouts defeats in modern boxing at the hands of Canelo Alvarez.
Brook doesn’t seem to quite ‘hate’ Khan, like Khan does for him it seems, but had this to say on the Bolton man via Ringside:
