The WBO 140lbs World Champion handed himself into local authorities in Omaha, Nebraska earlier today.
Terence Crawford (28-0-20KO) last boxed in February when he stopped Henry ‘Hank’ Lundy inside the distance at Madison Square Garden in New York.
Today however, news has emerged that could perhaps have a detrimental impact on his supremely talented boxing career, as a story has broken via WOWT that the undefeated world champion turned himself into police today over alleged theft charges relating to a car.
According to the report, the charges Crawford allegedly faces are: Destruction of property, theft of service, misdemeanor assault and trespass.
In the below video from WOWT, Crawford can be seen walking into a police station and emerging moments later.
Crawford also nicknamed ‘Bud’ – is slated to return to action inside the squared circle on July 23rd against WBC champion Viktor Postol (28-0-12KO) at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, in a world title unification collision.
