In the main Premier Boxing Champions event this weekend at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, the supremely talented Errol Spence Jr showed yet again just why many pundits and fans are singing the unbeaten American’s praises for huge accolades in the sweet science in the future.
The talented southpaw improved his record to 20-0 (17KO) and became the first man to ever stop Chris Algieri via a highly impressive 5th round TKO victory.
Not only did he do that, but he droppedAlgieri three times on route to a flawless performance, that saw Algieri struggle to land a glove on the adept 26 year old.
Nicknamed ‘The Truth’, it would be hard to disagree with that alias given the fashion he has gone about his work in the ring since turning professional in 2012.
A phenomenal boxer in the making, no doubt about it.
