Following Conor McGregor’s defeat to Nate Diaz in the UFC at the weekend, the heavyweight boxing champion of the world Tyson Fury has had some candid words for what he thought of McGregor (and the sport of mixed martial arts).
Fury is a man who is never shy to speak his mind and has spoken of respect for McGregor in the past, and has also called out different mixed martial arts fighters in the past – such as Cain Velasquez.
However, he wasn’t impressed with McGregor’s performance against Nate Diaz in the UFC at the weekend below. He added some further from the heart opinions on the sport of MMA too, and in typical Tyson Fury fashion – he didn’t mince his words:
Fury is slated to next appear in the boxing ring this summer with a contractual rematch obligation with Wladimir Klitschko expected to be announced soon for an outdoor soccer stadium.
Talks are still ongoing at this particular time but it is expected in many quarters that the fight could take place in the UK.
