The former six-time national amateur champion looked impressive on his professional pro debut against American Jonathan Rice.

Con Sheehan won his opening bout of his prize fighting career comfortably via a unanimous points decision over 4 rounds at the Nokia Club in LA, California.

His opponent Jonathan Rice heavily outweighed Sheehan on the night (275lbs approx) but it didn’t stop Con from controlling the fight, other than a clash of heads in the third round, Con ran out comfortable winner.

The Co.Tipperary man from Ireland is trained by renowned trainer Virgil Hunter and managed by fellow Irishman Gary Hyde.
