European and French LM Champ Michel Soro wears DBB T-Shirt after win

Last Saturday night in Reims France marked both a big night for current European and French light-middleweight champion Michel Soro (22-1-12KO) and Nowhere 2 Hyde Boxer management who announced their coming together.

Michel marked the night in style with an impressive boxing display over fellow country man Jean Hamilcaro that saw him run out a clear winner by unanimous decision over the 10 rounds.

Michel Soro has previously challenged for the WBO and IBO light-middleweight titles back in May of last year, only to be beaten on points after a close fight with current champion Zaurbek Baysangurov in Ukraine.

No doubt at the age of 26, that Michel teaming up with Gary Hyde will provide the Frenchman with plenty more of these type of opportunities in the future, as he now joins a growing stable of very talented, international, elite level professional pugilists at Nowhere 2 Hyde Boxer Management.

I was delighted and humbled to see Michel wearing a Doran’s Boxing Blog t-shirt (pictured above) after his win on Saturday – a big thanks to fellow Cork man Gary Hyde who is going from strength to strength in boxing at the moment.
