The UK’s Amir Khan has dropped a truth bomb on YouTuber and professional boxer KSI and others like him coming to boxing.
YouTubers and influencers are very different from active MMA and UFC fighters coming to boxing.
The latter being real fighters already with stand up and boxing ability. Khan has broken his silence on KSI and it all now:
Yeah, he just said it like it was really. KSI fights in Dublin soon in some sort of boxing match against two men.
Alas, the YouTubers do bring new boxing fans to boxing which is good.
But it has been shown twice by Tommy Fury when they box genuine boxers, even prospects like him, they lose (KSI and Jake Paul).
The acid test in terms of the hype and numbers of it all will come with Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul in November on Netflix.
A fight so big it transcends boxing itself.
