Ryan Garcia called out Teofimo Lopez tonight after the victory over Conor Benn in boxing results tonight but there are other fights too.
He got the job done inside just a couple of rounds tonight, did Garcia.
Some opponents next for him if it is not a unification against Lopez;
- Devin Haney — Garcia has mentioned a rematch but says he is not rushing it
- Rolando Romero — Garcia wants revenge after losing to him in 2025
- Shakur Stevenson — Garcia named him as a target and called him out after winning his title
- Mario Barrios — Garcia beat him for the title, so a rematch is possible
- Jack Catterall — welterweight champion who could unify with Garcia
- Liam Paro — another welterweight champion and unification option
- Brian Norman Jr. — rising contender ranked near the top at welterweight
- Eimantas Stanionis — high-volume pressure fighter who would test Garcia
- Richardson Hitchins — technical boxer with a win over Paro
- Conor Benn rematch — only if the first fight is competitive or controversial
It has to be the Devin Haney rematch though.
That fight is bigger than any of them, by far, it has to happen next or they must at least try to make it happen.
It does much bigger numbers than the Conor Benn fight tonight.
A Ryan Garcia vs Teofimo Lopez fight does solid numbers nut not a Garcia vs Haney fight type numbers.
